The Bridal Garments
The bridal dress is heavy, weighty. The Kabod of God. Are you strong enough to take the weight of His glory? Be not concerned at the fiery trial, it is for a far greater weight of glory.
Clothed in love.
The cross prepared you for what was to come, it was just the beginning. Little did you know the transformation was under way. You left the place of your natural birth and began again in an unknown land. You left Egypt, out of bondage , out of slavery, no longer under the yoke of oppression to the pagan god Pharoah. So many times you tried to resist this pull on your soul, to go back to the old way of looking at life, until you gave in to the voice speaking within your newly formed being.
Many times you would need to retrace your steps back to where it all began for you.
BEGOTTEN OF GOD, AN UNCREATED ONE, NOT BORN OF FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT BORN OF THE SPIRIT, BREATH OF GOD IN YOUR NOSTRILS UNTIL YOU LEFT THE GRAVE AND YOUR GRAVECLOTHES BEHIND IN THE TOMB OF DEATH, NOW CLOTHED WITH CHRIST, FULL OF LIGHT AND RESURRECTION LIFE. A GARMENT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
The cross the place of exchange where old things have passed away and behold all things are made new. The Bridal gown awaits the fitting.
The seed of love took root in your heart and now no power on earth or under heaven can separate you from this love. Oh you can deny, resist, shut your eyes and ears but it still exists, deep in the very cells of your body, soul and spirit. Your inner world of chaos moved in sychronised, transformed divine order, bought into subjection by the whispering voice of heaven's Love. You forget you said yes to the One who called, He knew the deep cry of your heart, the cry you thought you silenced with the worlds ways, seeking comfort in delusions, illusions and empty pursuits.
